X 230 11a 8d ; tobacco, .£3 11s 9d ; beer, JSIO7 8s ; sugar, Xl7 10s; tea, Xl4 9a lOd ; goods by weight, Xll 14s 5d ; ad valorem, £ll 7s ; other duties, .£lB 15s. Total, X 134 18s Bd. At the usual sitting of the Waste Lauds Board, held at Christcbnrch, on Monday, January 17th, sales were made as follows : Village settlements, deferred payments, 7a., producing .£7O. LAND SALE AT EANGIORA. Mb W. Buss sold at auction, on Tuesday, a farm of 220 acres, nt Gust, at the rn‘e of XU Os lOd per acre. A farm of 562 acres, in the same district, was not sold, the bidding failing to reach the reserved price.
