CHRISTCHURCH, Thtibsday, Janhaby 13. (Before J. Marsbman and J. T. Brown, Esqs., J.P.’s.) Dbcnebnness. Thomas Hawkins, for being drunk and resisting the arresting constable, was fined 10s. Patrick Ryan was fined 20s. Thomas Wilson, who had been to Lyttelton for medical treatment, was now brought up and discharged with a caution. A first offender was fined ss. I'BOVOKINO A BBEACH OP THB PEACE.— Albert Buffer, who by bis disorderly conduct cauned a crowd to collect at the old Post Office Coffee House on the previous night, was fined 10s„ and Is cab hire. Disobeying) an Obdeb op Ooubt. —Jo*. Cummings was brought up for neglecting to contribute as ordered to the support of his family. The police stated that a doctor had certified the prisoner to be suffering from delirium tremens. He was sent to Lyttelton for eight days for medical treatment, to be afterwards brought up at Christchurch.
