RIFLE MATCH.
The fourth monthly competition for the City Guards’ challenge belt took place at the Cashmere range yesterday morning. The weather was more favorable for shooting than usual, though rather a strong wind_ was blowing at the last range. The conditions were—Ranges, 200 and 300 yards ; seven shots at each range ; any position. The result of the match was that Sergeant A. Francis becomes tho winner of the belt this month with 44 points. The following are tho principal scores 200 300
