The little steamer Waipara, well known to every one of Hokitika Bar and West Coast experience, arrived here on Saturday morning from Greymonth. -She will undergo extensive repairs on Messrs Grubb and Co’s slip, including new The 'Edwin Fox arrived at Gravesend on October 30th, the Trevelyan on October 31st, «nd the Gareloch the same day. The a.s. Hawea arrived on Saturday morning early from Wellington, and sailed the same night on the return trip. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, December 20. The Botomahana, Captain Underwood, with 111 saloon passengers and 65 steerage, arrived at the Bluff at 8 p.m. yesterday. She left Hobson’s Bay at 4 p.m. on the 14th, experienced fresh easterly winds, Hobart Town at 4 40 on the 16fch inst. ; sailed 3 35 p.m.; experienced south-west gale, with heavy eea, until the 17th, thence fresh south-west winds, light westerly winds, and fine weather to arrival; passed the Solanders at 2.40 p.m. on ■the 19th.
