[Before Joseph Beswick, Esq., 8.M., and T. H. Potts, Etq, J.P.] Oitii Cases.— H. McDonald v Charles Bojd, judgment summons, amount £lO Os 6d ; ordered to pay 30a per week, or go to prison for one month. Mason and Strutheia ? Anderson, claim £24 4i ,- Mr Spackman for plaintiffs, Mr Haider for defendant; judgment was given for the defendant and costs, no evidence having been given that the goods were not put on board in good order. Mason and Struthers v Anderson, claim £24 4e; Mr Spackman for plaintiffs, Mr Haider for defendant. An application was made for Mr Spackman to have the case adjourned for a week. Mr Haider contended that the judgment just given in the previous cue was an estoppel to this case. The case was ordered to be struck out, plaintiff to pay costs and solicitor's fee. Cuff and Graham v Sutherland, claim £2O Os 9i, Mr Holder for plaintiffs; adjourned to January 7th. Njlder v Ferdinacd, judgment summons, £t 15s ; ordered to pay 5j per week or go to prison for fourteen Govs. Ob-ckne Lamqitaqb.—William Nichols wus charged with using obsceDd language to Thomas Later. He admitted the charge and was fined 20s and ooits or forty-eight hours imprisonment.
