The steamer Tui arrived at 4 a.m. yesterday from Kaikoura and Wellington. She went out last evening, intending to proceed to Kaikoura, but put back later, having found a mountainous sea outside, and heavy N.E. breeze. She will make a start to-day at 5 p.m. The Marmion, with timber from Kaipara for Messrs T. and E. Pavitt; the Jannett, from Waitapu, with a like cargo for Mr W. H.
