Only a moderate amount of business has been carried through daring the week. Wheat of good quality finds ready buyers at 43 3d. but the quantity offering is exceedingly trifling. Flour meets a fair trade enquiry at .£ll for town brands, and jEIO 10s for country. Oats move slowly at Is 6d for milling and Is 3d for feed. The Melbourne market appears a shade better than it was, but not good enough to permit of any business at remunerative rate?. Barley of really good quality is saleable at 3s 6d, and medium to inferior at 2s 6d to Is 9d. Batter ha 3 been in slightly better demand, and several large parcels are reported to have been sold, 6d f .o.b. Cheese is neglected at 3&d to 4d. Hams and bacon continue in good demand at
