A Frightful CrimeA shanty-keeper has been murdered at Albury by a swagman, who also attempted to murder the shanty-keeper’s daughter. Ho afterwards fired the hut for the purpose of concealing the crime. The murderer has been arrested. Coming RoundMr Norton, who was shot at Duhho, ia steadily recovering. Speedy Vengeance. H.M. corvette Emerald, belonging to the Australian squadron, has left for the Solomon Group, in order to avenge the murder of the commander aud several of the crew of H.M. schooner Sandfly.
