Southern Cross at Auckland), at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2.10 p.m. For Northern Ports, per Rotorua, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. FRIDAY. DECEMBER 10. For Cape Town, per barque Bells, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.30 a.m. ; guard’s yan, 12 noon train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 2.10 p m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. MONDAY, DECEMBER 13. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per s.s. Durham (for specially addressed correspondence only), as follows Ordinary letters, at 11 a.m.; books and newspapers, at 11 a.m.; money orders, at 10 a.m.; registered letters, at 10 a.m.; late fee letters, at 11.20 a.m.; guard’s van, 12 noon train. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15. For the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only), Continent of Europe, Point de Gallo, India, the East, Aden, Mauritius, Natal, Cope of Good Hope, Suez, the Mediterranean Ports, Australian Colonies, &c., per express train, to connect with s.s. Ta Anan, at Bluff, as follows: Ordinary letters at 7 a.m.; books and newspapers at 6 a.m.; registered letters at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14th; money orders at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14. Late fee letters may bo posted in the travelling Post Office van attached to the express traiu on Wednesday, 15th December. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Son Francisco, will oloee at the Chief Post Office, on Saturday, Ist January, 1881. Note,—On and after Saturday, 4th December, the Money Order and Savings Bank’s office will close each Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The office will open again at half-past six o’clock to receive Savings Bank deposits only, and will remain open till half-past eight o’clock.
