SALE OF PRIVILEGES.
To-day, at 1 p.m., Mr H. E. Alport submitted the privileges to erect publicans' and refreshment and confectionery booths, &e., at the Anniversary sports, Hagley Park, on December 16th, and also the Amalgamated Friendly Society’s Fete on December 27th. For the anniversary sports the following prices were realised :—Publicans' booths No. 1 and 2, T. Ravonhill, each £37 10s ; luncheon booth, T. Poole, £5 ; confectioner’s booth, No. 1, Mr Robinson, £7 15s ; do, No. 2, Mr Bashford, £7 15s; Mr Gardner, dancing booth, £5 ; Mr Robinson, 10ft. at 2s 6d, £1 sa. Total, £lollss.
For Amalgamated Friendly Society’s sports the following results were obtained:—Publicans booth, E. Ravenhill, £l9; No. 1, confectioner’s booth, with right to supply luncheon, A. Gee, £8; do. No. 2, Mr Robinson, £7 5; programmes, Mr Allen, 10s. Total. £34 15*.
