At the wool sales to-day 7600 bales were offered, making a total of 79,000 bales catalogued since the opening. The tone of the sale was quiet. December 4, A.t the wool sales to-day 8,300 bales were offered, making a total of 87,300 bales catalogued since the opening. The tone of the sale shewed that prices were firmly maintained. The ship Araby Maid, which went ashore last month at Kingdown, has been successfully floated. The cargo has not apparently suffered much damage. Trial of the Leaguers. The application, of Mr Parnell that the

trial of himself and the other Leaguers for conspiracy, which is fixed to take place at the end of the month, should he postponed on account of the meeting of Parliament on the 6th January, has been refused by the Irish Judges.
