RIFLE MATCH
The third match for the Christchurch City Guards Challenge Belt was fired at the Cashmere Range yesterday morning. There was a very glaring light and a strong wind blowing across the range in gusts, which made it very unfavourable for good scoring. It will be seen by the score appended that SubLieutenant F. W. Francis is the winner of the belt this month with 36 points. The conditions were 500 and 600 yards; seven shots at each range, any position. The following are the scores:—
