[eehtee’s telegrams.] ‘ "--' LONDON, November 29. Aquatic* The sculling match between Trickett and Roes came off to-day. The former won by four boat lengths, bat, owing to fouling, the match was ordered to be rowed over again. The MarketsAdelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is at 52e; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, at 365; New Zealand wheat, ex ship, at 45 s 6d. The other markets are unchanged. The Wool Sales. At the wool sale to-day 8800 bales were offered, making a total of 45,700 catalogued since the opening. The tone of the bidding to-day was irregular. November 30. AquaticLaycock and Hanlon have now agreed to pull a match for the championship, and £SOO aside. AppointmentsMr. Shaw Le Fevre has been appointed Chief Commissioner for Public Works in place of Mr. W. G. Adam, appointed Governor of Madras. Mr. G. O. Trevelyan succeeds Mr. Shaw Le Fevre as Secretary to the Admiralty. The Laud League. The Land League agitation in Ireland continues to receive considerable support in many parts, and numbers of new members are being enrolled. At Kildepart alone during the last few days over 1000 persona have Joined the League.
