To the Editor of the Globe. Sib, —I regret to see by this morning's " Press," that the Board of Governors have decided to raise the subscription to the Public Library from 2s 6d to 4s per quarter. In the present depressed state of business, when salaries are reduced, I think it is a step in the wrong direotion. Hoping they will reconsider their decision. Tours, &c, A SUBSCRIBER.
