The barque Lois arrived yesterday «° m Louis, Mauritius, after a good passage of fortyseven days. As when ahe waa last here, now several years since, the Lois is commanded by Captain J. Lewis. She left Port Louis pn Ootober 10th. met with a S.E. gala dnnng the 12th and 14th, had moderate northerly weather afterwards to falling in with the westerly winds; crossed the Leuwin meridian in 44 S. on the let instant, that of Tasmania on the llth, and made the Snares on the 18th instant. Since then light baffling winds. The vessel was berthed on, arrival at No. 3 jetty to discharge her cargo of 360 tons of sngar, about 90 tons of which ia consigned to a Nelson firm.
