The immense number of Jesuits arriving in Spain from Prance is alarming the Liberals of the former country. They declare that this black-coated immigration is assisting the revival of Oarlism and TJltramontanism in Spain, and the Premier is greatly blamed for countenancing a movement fraught with future danger. During the past winter Mr P. P. Noble, of Oarleton, Now Brunswick, tried the experiment of storing enow for use in packing fish for transportation. Ho had three houses filled, and it is proving at once cheaper and Ic;B troublesome than ice for the purpose intended.
