THE PUBLIC LIBRARY.

To the Editor of the Globe, Sib,— Having been a frequenter of the Public Library for some considerable time past, and one that always appreciated that valuable institution, I should like to know why a certain paper (the “ Sydney Herald ” to wit) has not been seen for some time past. Surely it can’t be possible the authorities wish to debar the public from seeing any advertisements that may appear in that valuable paper. It certainly looks strange to see one bench so crowded while on another there is a vacant space. By inserting this, you will greatly oblige. Yours, &c„ A CONSTANT VISITOR. November 20th, 1880.
