MAIL NOTICES
Mails clone at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subjoot to the necessary alterations) as under : SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20. For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 7.30 p.m. Guard's van must not be used for this mail. MONDAY, NOVEMBEB 22. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at. 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Bingarooma, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, «fec, via San Francisco, will closo on Saturday, December 4th, and will be due in London on January 18th, 1881. Note.—On and after Saturday, 4th December, the Money Order and Savings Banks Office will close each Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The office will open again at half-past six o'clock to receive Savings Bank deposits only, and will remain open till half-past eight o'clock. dYDWEIi: J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
