SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION.

A largely attended meeting of Sunday ■chool teachers and others interested in the work of teaching, was held last evening in the Wesleyan schoolroom, Durham street, at half-past seven o'clock. Mr H. J. Boss, president of the Union, took the chair, and briefly introduced Mr E. C. Brown, special representative at the London centenary gatherings, who gave a telling address on Sunday school work, chiefly with reforence to the proceedings of the centenary in London. He also offered suggestions as to increased usefulness in imparting religious instruction to the young. Several questions were asked and replied to. After which a vote of thanks was accorded to Mr Brown, and the meeting terminated with the usual devotional exercises.
