MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Offioe for the following places (subjeot to the necessary alterations) as under : FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19. For WaDganui, per St. Kilda, at 11.20 a.m. ; late fee letters, at 11.30 a.m.; guard's van, 12 noon train. For Northern ports, per Oreti, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20. For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 7.30 p.m. Guard's van must not be used for this Baail. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma. The next mail for the United Kingdom, Ac, via San Francisco, will close on Satnrday, December 4th, and will be due in London on January 18th, 1881. Note. —On and after Saturday, 4th December, the Money Order and Savings Banks Office will close each Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. 7he office will open again at half-past six o'clock to receive Savings Bank deposits only, and will remain open till half-past eight o'clock. «*DNEY 3.
