The annual Oolte match was played yesterday, and proved totally uninteresting, the cricket, with a few exceptions, being of the tamest description. The most noticeable feature was W. J. Ootterill’s innings of 66, which was very good with the exception of two or three chances, Easton's 20, not out, was a steady innings.
