CRICKET.
The annual Oolte match was played yesterday, and proved totally uninteresting, the cricket, with a few exceptions, being of the tamest description. The most noticeable feature was W. J. Ootterill’s innings of 66, which was very good with the exception of two or three chances, Easton's 20, not out, was a steady innings. Bowen bowled very well all through the innings, getting nine wickets for 48 runs. Bedmayne also came off, getting five wickets for 19 runs. W. Forsythe showed very fair form for his 15. Mr Hartland’s side won the match by 44 runs. The
