AUCTIONEER'S REPORT.

J. L. Wilson reports :—His new saleyards, at his Exchange on Saturday last, were well attended, and having a good supply of cows, young Block, large quantity of pigs, and poultry, and, with the exception of one cow, all were sold at satisfactory prices, and was a very good beginning. Prices realised: —Cows, in profit, £b to JB6; springers, from £3 15s to £6 15s; young Mock, from 36s to J 33 5s ; calves, 10s to 18s. .Poultry—fowls, 43 6d ; ducks, 43 6d ; turkeys, Sa each; geese, 5s 6d each. Pigs—A large entry of 158, which we succeeded in disposing of at satisfactory prices, ranging from .£3 6s down to 16s each. Some posts and rails did not reach owner's limits of 50s, but were partly sold after at this figure privately. A capital nearly mow waggonette did not reach owner's reserve •f JBIS and was bought in.
