The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Wednesday, November 3rd, were as follows :—Spirits, £ 198 15s 8d ; tobacco, £BO 3s; cigars, £4O 14s 6d; wine, £4l 13a; be*r, 12a; tea, £34 6s 84; goods by weight, £lO ss; ad valorem, £5 15s ; other duties, £25. Total, £437 4s 10d. At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board, held at Christchurch on Thursday, November 4th, sales were made:—Ordinary : Selwyn, lr. 33p.; Geraldine, la. 3r. lip. ; total, 2a. lr. 9p., producing £4 12s 3d. Refunds ■were made on account of former purchases in the sum of 17s 6d.
