The schooner Albatross arrived from the Thames with a cargo of timber yesterday. _ The Aratapn, brigantine, from Kaipara, arrived yesterday at 1 p.m., having made an exceptionally smart mn. Captain Bower reports—Left Kaipera at 3 p.m. on Sunday; passed the Brothers at 6 a.m. on Tuesday; Cape Campbell at 11 a.m., and Kaikoura at 2 p.m.; from thence had light airs and calms to arrival. The Magellan Cloud made the run from here to Kaipara last trip in forty-nine hours. The following vessels sailed ye-iterday■ Edwin Bassitt, Firefly, and Pet, for Newcastle ; Wild Wave, for South Port; Sarah and Mary, for Greymouth; Herald, for Foxton; and Clio, for Waitapu. The Eotorna left Dunedin last night at 7 p.m., and is, therefore, due here about eleven this morning: Bha sails for Northern ports on arrival of the 525 p.m. train from Christchurch. The Albion leaves Wellington to-day at 1 p.m. for this port, and sails hence for Port Chalmers on arrival of the 2 40 p.m. train tomorrow. The Hawaa left Wellington at 10 p.m. lost night for Dunedin.
