RIFLE MATCH.
The Christchurch City Guards fired the second match for their Challenge Bolt at the Cashmere range on Wednesday morning. The morning was very unfavourable for good shooting, the wind blowing very strong across the range, with a fine rain, which would baffle the most experienced marksman. The conditions wore—Eanges 400 and 500 yards, 7 shots at each range, any position. The fol-
