Passengers are notified to be on board by 10 a.m. . The s.s. Jane Douglass is to leavo for Kaikoara, Wellington and Foxton on Wednesday. The New Zealand Shipping Company's ship Waitangi, punctually to her advertised date of sailing, took her departure on Saturday for London. She was towed direct from the pier to sea, and spread her canvas to a moderate N.E. breeze, with which she was speedily out of sight. The Waitangi carries the first of this season's wool, of which the has some 1650 bales for the London February sales. Tallow and cereals comprise chiefly the remainder of her cargo. A list of the passengers by her is given above. The next of the company's ships to follow is the OiOV -. now on the berth, and announced to sail this month. The vessels at the wharves last evening were— At No. 1, Jeas'e Eeadman, Crusader, Halcione. Opawa. No. 2, St. Kilda. s.s. No. 3, Star of the Sea, Herald. No. 4, Sunbeam. No 5, Edwin Bassett. No. 6. Jannett, Ansdell. No. 7, Clio, Frank Guy, Wild Wave. At the Bock Jetty, Moa. The s.a. St. Kilda, arrived at 2.30 p.m. yesterday from Oamaru, and to-day proceeds for Wanganui direct. POBT OF SUMNEB.
