MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to ihe necessary alterations) aa under i TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26. For Otago, Australian Colonies, and United Kingdom, per express, to connect with s.b. Kotomahana at Bluff, at 7 a.m. Late fee letters may be posted in the travelling postoffice van ataached to the express train. For Northern portp, per Taiaroa, at 3.20 p.m ; late fee letters at 3.30 p.m.,- guard's van, 4,5 p.m. train. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28.
For Otago, per Wanaka, at 12.25 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 12.35 p.m. ; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Northern porta, Australian Colonies, per Bingarooma, at 320 p.m.; late fee letters, at 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4.5 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, &c, via San Francisco, will close on November 6th. This mail will be due in London on December 22nd.
The next mail for the United Kingdom, &0., via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only), will close on November 17th. This mail will be due in London on January 6th, 1881.
