The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Saturday. October 9th, were as follows: — Tobacco, £4O 19s; wine, £7 Is ; beer, £lO5 11a 6d ; tea, £l3 13a 4d ; timber, £1 15s 4d ; goods by weight, £IBB I4s lOd ; nd valorem, £478 18s; other duties, £531 12s sd; total £1368 5s sd.
At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board, held at Christchurch on Monday, October 11th, sales were made ns follows Ordinary—Akaroa, 10 acres, producing £2O.
