Soda crystals, fine salt, and one or two items of a similar class continue exceedingly source though the inquiry will bo jairliolly relieved by the arrival of the Crusader, -fha agents of Mol'or’s sauce report a good business at the standard rates. Nottabid is finding fav>r with buyers at 14s. Quarts vinegar has bien sold at 8a for an invoice parcel. Oilmen’a stores have only seen the ordinary trade business. Va x Honten’s cocoa has been selling in lots on the spot at 4a 7d and 4a Bd. Transactions to arrive are noted at a slight advance on these rates. Fry’s is quoted at the old value of Is 41. IOUO’s vestas are not in over soppy, and 76 sto 7Ss has been paid lately. Oinilca are quoted at 9d to lOd. Sulphur has had better enquiry lately, and holders now ask JE!B 10a to £i9 for parcels. Boiled oil is in good demand and stocks are not heavy ; 4s 6d is wanted or invoice lots. Castor has been placed ia small loti at 4s 3d. Kerosene is without alteration. Assorted parcels of wire nails have changed hands np to 23a 6d. Woolpacke have come into prominent notice, and fair sales are reported at 3s 4d to 3s 6d. Cornsacks aro scarce -at 9 1. Several invoices of bottled stout ato offering w.thout finding buyers—lls 3d to He 9d is asked, recording to brand. Brandy has changed h nds at 8s to 8s 3d_for medium ferands during the week. Lome whisky iu case fxa.3 found buyers at 19s, and Kilmarnock, to arrive, at 21s 6d to 225. Small sales of ilarets sre taking place at rates varying from 12s to 30s, in bond. Lime j line cordial is selling at 19s to Ms, according to size of lot. There is little doing in Cnampag; es beyond trade requirements. Skim, in qn rters, has been sold at 3s 9d to 4s.
