Restoration op Sight, —Mr James Oldridge, of Le Ron’s Bay, who has suffered from an affection of the left eye for nearly twenty-five years, has met with a remarkable cure. The sight was injured by coal dust being blown into it, and to such an extent that only a faint perception of light was left to that orgen. In June last Mr Oldridge lost the sight of the other eye through a gorae spike. In this extremity he placed himself under the care of Dr. Wilkin, of this city, who operated on both eyes three times, removing growths attaching to those organs. The result has been that Mr Oldridge has not only regained his sight, but can see objects at a long distance very distinctly, and also read small type without difficulty, the cure being complete with both eyes alike.
