The brigantine Island lily, Captain Cooper, axrired yesterday morning from Port Chalmers with a cargo of stone for Measr3 Ware and Jones, the graving dock contractors. She left thero on Monday at noon, and was becalmed off the Peninsula on Tuesday, getting a NE. breese subsequently, with which she made the jjort. The brigantine Cleopatra, Captain Clarksoa, has undergone a most thorough overhaul while -on Messrs Miller »nd Co.'s slip. The vessel was stripped a'd re-fastened from keel to gunwale, and ha* received a new covering of copper, no expense hiving been spared to make her in all respects a sound and seaworthy vessel throughout The brieantine Mary King left Tairua Sept. -Slat, and had moderate variable weather down the coast to arrival yesterday morning. Tha schooner Elizabeth Conway, Captain Ware, arrived yesterday morning from Pictcm. whence she left on Sunday morning last. Had light N.K. wind to Kaikoura same evening, then variable winds. The schooner Herald, Captain Chambers, was loading timber at Picton for thia port when the Elizibeth Conway left there. The b.b Hinemoa did not leave for Wellington last night as was expected.
