M nils close at the Chief Post Office fop the following placeß (sublet to tho noceßßary alterations) as under : "WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 29. Ot'.go and Australian Colonios, per expreßß, to connect with Bh. Rotomahana, at Bluff, at 7 a.m. Late fee letters may be posted in the travelling Post-Office van attached to the express train. THURSDAY, SEPT. 30. For Ofcago, per Taiaroa, at 11.15 a m. ; late fee letters, at 11.39 a.m. ; guard's van, 12 noon train. Northern Ports, per Tararua, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, at 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4.5 p.m. train. The mail for tha United Kingdom, Ac, via San Francisco, will 'close on the 9th October next. This mail will be due iu London on November 23rd. Tho npxt mail for the Uniteu Kingdom, &c, via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only) will close on the 20th October.
