MAIL NOTICES.
Mails oloao at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to tho necessary alterations) as under: — SATURDAY, SEPT. 25. For Northern Ports, per Taiaroa, at 7.30 p.m.; guard’s van must not be used for this mail. TUESDAY. SEPT. 28. For Ctago and Australian Colonies, per Rotomahana. at 4 20 p m. ; late fee letters, at 4.1-0 p.m ; guard’s van, 5.25 p m. train. For Northern Porta, per Hawea, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2.10 p m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p m. train. The mail for tho United Kingdom, &c., via San Francisco, will close on the 9th October next. This mail will be dne in London on November 23rd. Tho next mail for tho United Kingdom, &0., via Brindisi ('or specially addressed correspondence only) will close on ths2uth October.
