The Randwick Plate, three miles, was won by Sweetmeat, Martindale second. Democrat third. Won by half a length. Time 40 3 10th sees. The race was a good one. MELBOURNE, September 11. Shipping. Sailed —Rotorua for the Bluff. September 12. The P. and O. Co.’s Assam with the inward mail, dated London, July 3rd, arrived last night.
