CURE BOATING CLUB.

The annual meeting of this club was held on Wednesday evening, Bth instant, at Wearing's Kaiapoi Hotel. Present—Messrs G. A. Wearing (president), J. Winterbourn, A. Winterbourn, J. Perrin, F. Weston, and G. A. Manning. The animal report and balance sheet were read and confirmed, which showed a balance of £ls to the credit of the club at the bank, in addition to which they have pronerty to the value of £llO, after paying off all their liabilities. The election of officers for the ensuing season was deferred till next meeting owing to the email attendance. A vote of thanka was recorded to those gentlemen who eo ably represented the club at the Lyttelton, Heathoote, and Kaiapoi regattas, also to Mr J. Anderson for allowing the club to have the use of his shed to keep their property in. The sum of £45 7s was authorised to be paid to the winning crews for the purchase of trophies, as decided at a previous meeting.
