Passengers, for Lyttelton—Mr Farinsse, and five Chinese for the South. THE DANAE. H.M.S. Danae arrived last evening from Wellington. The Harbormaster hoarded her at tie Heads and brought her up under full steam Into the inner harbor, and direct to the berth last occupied by H.M.S. Cormorant. A full description of the Danae was published iu the Globe of Monday, so that there remains but little to be said of her. It is understood that she will make a considerable stay here, during which the public will no doubt be afforded opportunities of visiting her. The following will be found a correct list of her officers, some changes having been made prior to her departure from Wellington : —Captain, John Child Purvis ; lieutenants, John C. Hallifax, W. G.
