SYDENHAM CRICKET CLUB.

The annual general meeting of this club was held at the Colombo road schoolroom last evening, _ Mr E. Pavitt, vice-president, in the chair. The Secretary read the report and balance sheet, which were considered very satisfactory. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the retiring officers. Messrs J. T. Fisher, M.H.R., and E. Pavitt were re-elected president and vice-president respectively; Mr F. H. Esponett was unanimously re-elected hon. sec. and treasurer, and Mr S. Day custodian ; Messrs J. Jobson, L. D. Easton, G. Fisher, T, S. Hall, and W. B. George, were chosen ns managing committee, and Messrs Fisher, Easton, Espenett, and Day as a match committee for the season, A cordial vote of thanks to the chairman concluded the proceedings.
