Patrick Keating, bailed out, did not appear, was ordered to show cause why his bail should not be estreated. Later on he was brought up and fined sa. Mathew Singleton, temporarily deranged from the effects of immoderate drinking, was remanded to Lyttelton for eight days for medical treatment. Failing to Pbovide. —Thomas Williams was ordoredjto pay 10s per week to his wife for her maintenance. This case was heard before Mr Mollish.
