THE CHRISTADELPHIAN ECCLESIA.
To the Editor of the Globe. Sib, —I see from your issue of the 31st that my statements are considered worthy of a denial, and that I am not to be relegated to the regions of "ignominious contempt," as at first suggested. To "go into details" they find would be rather inoonvenient. lam to be silenced and the public hoodwinked with the hollow sound of "agitator." But if to bring to light the hidden things of darkness and deception is to agitate, then be it so. But people in glass houses should not throw stones. Where in the theological world of Chrietchurch is there a greater agitator and disturber of the peace than the man whom the " Renunciationists " appoint to lead them, F. M. L.? This is always the case where a conscious dearth of argument exists. To go into details would be to unclothe the hideous piece of deformity begotten by Mr L. Sat to come to the point again, I challenge the whole body of them, especially Messrs. Lester and Morgan, to meet m» in any publio hall, in the face of a discerning public, and I will prove to the public at least the truth of every statement. I was going to ask you, Sir, to allow this to take place in your columns, but that would be more than I have a right to expect. I am prepared to put into your hands unmistakeable evidence from the *' Ohristadelphian Magazine" proving the existence of the " Benunciationists." 1 have also in my possession a letter from Mr L. clearly identifying him with that eect. Any person that wishes to Bee for himself is welcome to a perusal ot them. The Ohristadelphian Ecclesia authorise me to state that they believe that Jesus Christ as Son of Man inherited the consequences of Adam's sin, including the sentence of death. They also believe that there is a physical principle in the flesh termed "sin." They believe that those who are capable of understanding tne Gospel but do not believe and lovingly obey it by being baptized, will be raised to judgment. We dare the followers of Mr Lester, or Mr Lester himself, to say "yes" or "no" to these items of truth. If they say "yes," then we are mistaken and they are Christadelphians after all; but if they say " no," how is it that they are prepared to receive us into their midst, while we are holding those truths, and if we were in their midst would not that prove of itself the state of things mentioned in my last letter, viz. " jangling and disputing among themselves." But, sir, I see no indication that they intend giving up the use of our " Trade Mark." It may be that they have a difficulty in inventing one for themselves. I would suggest that they fix upon one indicating the peculiarity of their belief as distinct from the other sects. They believe that the flesh is "very good" and clean from the physical principle of sin. It is, therefore, holy flesh ; but "holy fleshito" has an uncouth sound with ' it. This could be remedied by adopting the ' principle originating the name Chiistadelphian. They would then be known as - " Hagiosar conians." Yours, &0., ALEX, McKILLOP. ] The following letters appear in this morning's ( issue of the "Press":— I
