Mr Garrick applied for leave to register copy of deed of assignment herein. Hia Honor granted the order as prayed. IN THB MATTER OP WADDELL AND DAMAGE, OF QEEALDIHB. In re a proceeding before the Resident Magistrate of Geraldine, at Temuka, between A. E. Waddell, plaintiff, and John A. Qamack, defendant —For rule calling upon the Resident Magistrate herein to show cause why he should not be prohibited from further proceeding in respect of a certain order made herein. MV Holmes asked, on behalf of Mr Harper, who was elsewhere engaged, that this case might be allowed to stand over. Mr Bruges and Mr Thompson appeared for the respective parties concerned. Order made appointing the trial at next sittings of the Court in Christchurch. HE JESSE DAVIS, DECEASED. _ _ Mr Salter applied for letters of administration to Elizabeth Ann Davis, widow, Order granted as prayed. BE w. a. nece, deceased. Mr Turnbull herein applied for an order for reduction of the penalty of bondsmen. Aw order was made reducing the surety to twice the amount of the debts and the amount to which children under age are entitled. SSRD9 REGISTRATION ACT AND RB JOSEPH PATRICK, DECEASED. Mr Salter applied for leave to register copy of will herein. Application granted. DEEDS REGISTRATION ACT AND RB JOHN ORAMOND, DECEASED. For leave to register copy of will and codicil. Mr Bruges in support of the application. Hia Honor granted leave as prayed for. A similar application in Deeds Registration Act and re William Hill Qummer, deceased, was granted. BUTTER V RICHMOND. Mr Stringer moved for leave to appear and defend herein (two causes). Granted. DEBTORS AND CREDITORS ACT AND BE C. GURNEY. Mr Stringer applied for an order of the Court calling upon the Postmaster to redirect to the trustee herein the letters of the debtor. It was pointed out by counsel, in reply to Hia Honor, that the bankrupt had received letters from home intimating the death of his father, and also the fact that he (the bankrupt) was largely benefited by the will. When asked to produce these documents he stated that he had lost. them, but that he expected others from Home in relation to the subject, and he (Mr Stringer), on behalf of the creditors, wished to intercept them, for the purpose of ascertaining bankrupt’s true position at the time he filed. His Honor granted the order as prayed, to extend over throe months, the letters to be opened by the trustee iu the presence of the bankrupt. WILSON V DRAPER AND CHARTERS. Return to Judge’s summons of August 26th, Mr Holmes and Mr McConnel appeared for respective parties. This was a summons calling upon defendants .herein to show cause why they should not answer certain interrogatories. Argument was taken on several points raised An order was made that the sixth and the second part of the tenth of the interrogatories be answered; costs to go with the «anse. An application was made by Mr Holmes for a new order calling upon defendants to carry out a previous order of the Court to discover certain books and papers in the cause. The application was refused —an amended order having already been made with consent. DEBTORS AND CREDITORS ACT. Orders of discharge wpre granted to William Maltby and J seph Dyohe Teague. In re Ed win Motsman. Mr Balter applied for order for payment of costs out of estate, and the order was granted as prayed. ___________
