CANTERBURY LIBERAL REFORM ASSOCIATION.

The quarterly general meeting of the above was held last evening in the offices of the association, Hereford street. The report for the past quarter was read, and on the motion of Mr Clephane, seconded by Mr Lockwood, was received and adopted. It was decided to take strong action in the matter of the Redistribution of Seats Bill now before the Assembly, and also the Registration of Electors. Both these questions were relegated to the committee of the association, instead of special committees being appointed, as recommonded in the report. It was hoped that all outstanding subscriptions would be paid promptly, as the liabilities of the association lire in excess of its assets. The meeting then adjourned.
