NEW SUBURB.
Another suburb is about to be added to the many already surrounding the city. The title will be somewhat puzzling to many, so far as pronunciation is concerned, but “Bryndwr” will remind many of an exceedingly pretty spot in North Wales. Mr Charles Clark, the agent for the vendor, Mr Charles Jeffreys, has had the estate surveyed into very conveniently sized blocks, and will offer the whole for sale on Thursday, September 9th. The estate is well known as that largo block of land on the right hand side of the Pendaltownroad abutting on and fronting the residences of the Hon. J. B- Acland, Messrs Fereday, Willock, Hanmer, Wakefield and others, and stretches away towards Papanni in rear of the Papanui road properties of Messrs Bhodes, Duncan and others. It is beautifully situated for building purposes, and as the Waiarapa river runs through it soma grand sites for villa residences are obtainable. Ae the Papanui tram cars are reached by way of Norman’s road in less than ten minutes from the estate, that tact will undoubtedly cause many city men to look with great favor towards the proparty.
