Lanarkshire, barque, 794 tons, Mackay, for Loudon. N.Z.S. Co., agents. A steamer from the North —probably the Hinemoa —was signalled as onr messenger left Fort to day. . .. The Annabella and Lanarkshire sailed this forenoon for London. The ship Fqi sailed from Newcastle for this part, with 2178 tons of coal, on August 9th. The s s. Hero, for many years trading direct between Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland, will, it is said, t ike Wellington in her route in future. She is to proceed from Melbourne to Sydney, thence to Wellington, up the Coast to Auckland, and hack to Sydney. The s s. Jane Douglas arrived on Saturday from Kaikoura, and sailed last evening on the return trip. The s.s. Go-Ahead, from Wellington, arrived or Saturday, and sailed for Kaikoura and advertised ports at night. The Loch Awo broke bulk on Saturday. Her cargo looked to be in capital order. i The Canoma had about thirty tons of coal in her hold on Saturday, and had taken in a little tallow, the first instalment of her outward cargo. The P.emington and Chinanra, loading for Messrs. P. Cunningham and Co. ; wore taking in grain on Saturday steadily. The barque Examiner cleared at the Customs on Saturday for GreymOnth, and took her departure, towi-g out to sea The Lanarkshire was cleared on Saturday for London by the New Zealand Shipping Company, and towed into the stream. Her cargo is general produce, as shown above, and the vessel being in flying trim, it should speedily reach the Home market. The Lanarkshire sails to*day. The vessels lying at the wharves last evening wero—No. I—Helen Denny, Geraldine Paget, Loch Awe, Ai ’.helred, Samarkand, Abernyte. No. 3—Canoma, Aminta. No. 4—Remington, Chiu-nra, Onward. No. s—Silver Eagle. No. 6 —Waratah, Emperor. No. 7—Torea. In the strsam—Lanarkshire, Annabella. Tho barque Annabella, which has gained such notoriety eince her arrival here in distress last May, was cleared at the Customs for London on Saturday, and will sail this morning. The four lata members of her crew, wbo some time since declared themselves willing—rather than again leave the port in her—to take the only alternative they supposed would be offered, namely, a sentence of imprisonment, are at liberty. They will, besides, be very likely to get tbeir clothing and effects, these having bsen landed and sent to the Collector of Customs. POET OP SOMNEE. A REIVED — August G. Catherine, ketch, 12 tons.
