Eaioigh, at Wellington, paid a visit to the port on Saturday, and in company with the harbor master took a walk round to the graving dock, now being constructed. He exnressed himself highly pleased with the Bite of the dock, as being exceedingly well chosen in respect to the easy and safe approach to it for shipping. THE LOCH AWE. The ship signalled daring yesterday proved to be the New Zealand Shipping Company's char, tared ship Loch Awe, from London. The steam tng went oub for her this forenoon, and towed her to an anchorage. The Loch Awe left Gravesend on May 4th, and brings a number of passengers as above. SHIPPING TELEGEA.MS. New Plymouth, August 2. The schooner Julius Vogel, from Greymouth, on entering the Waitara Bivsr on Saturday evening, grounded on the North Spit. She is expected to be got off this evening.
