CHBISTOHUBGH. Thubbday, Jdxy 29. [Before G. L. Mellish, Etq., B.M] Dbuhk and Diobdkbly.—An offender for the first time was fined ss. Lr/KAcr fbom Dbikk.—Wm. Wallace waa remanded to Lyttelton Gaol for medical treatment.
Tbansfbb op License.—A transfer of the license of the Heathoote Va'ley Hotel from M. Vsughan to Jss. Long, was granted. His Worship warning the new licensee of thenecessity for improvement in the management of tho house. Maintenance-—Letitia Steele obtained an order of this nature on behalf of her illegitimate child against James Lnlie, in the sum of £2 4s at once, ani 5* 6d par week.
