Cameron, schooner, 41 tons, Larsen, from Picton. Master, agent. Hawea, s.s., 461 tons, Kennedy, from Dunedin -via Akaroa. E. Pnflett, agent. Passengers— Miss Waite, Messrs Beeching, Murdoch, Perry, Snowden, ' oberta, Smith, Richardson, Patterson, Woodhonse and party (4), Glen and child, Bnmey, Kent and Smith. Sailed —July 26. Go-a-Head, s.s., 129 tons. Dicker, for Timarn. Cuff and Graham, agents. Tni, s.s., 64 tons. Wills, for Kaikonra. -Cnff and Graham, agents. The steamers Arawata from Sydney via North and the Hawea from Dunedin via Akaroa arrived this morning. Some difference has recently occurred between the Union Steamship Company and the lumpers usually employed by them, in consequence of a reduction in the wnges. The old hands” have refused to go on at the reduced Messrs Cuff and Graham are expecting the Kenilworth from Auckland. The T.inn sailed out into the stream yesterday afternoon for Auckland. She is to load at the Manukau, it is said, with timber for this port. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, July 27. The City of Sydney arrived at 10.30 to-day. She left San Francisco on July 4th, the day before time; was detained four hours off the island of Oahu through thick weather; on the 23rd experienced strong S.W. gale. Passengers to Auckland —Miss Longmore, Mrs Moore, child and nurse, Sev. Mr Anderson, Messrs Keifer, Wilds, Lovewill, Page, England and Making.
