I The following are the vital statistics for the month of June, 1880 : g ', ■ . ■■' )
The total births in the above boronghs amounted to 498 against 462 in May, being an increase of 36. The deaths amounted to 147 in June, an increase of 7 on the number in May. Of the above deaths, malea contributed 72, females 75. 55 of the deaths were those of children under 5 years of age, being 37.41 per cent, of the whole number. 40 of these were children under one year of age.
