CHRISTCHURCH PRESBYTERY.

The Christohuroh Presbytery met in Bfc. Andrew's Church on Thursday, the 22nd inst., when there were present—Revs. Horner (Moderator), McKee, Cairns, Blake, Hill, and Bruen. The report of the deputation appointed to meet with the Kaiapoi oongregation was read and adopted. A letter was read from the Rev. Mr McGregor, conveying his resignation ot the Kaiapoi charge on condition that the Presbytery pay to him £143 3s, which is the sum due to him by the oongregation. The following resolutions were agreed to: —"That the resignation of the Rev. Mr McGregor of the Kaiapoi charge be accepted, on the condition stated in his letter of the 19th inst.'' " That the Moderator of the Presbytery intimate the resignation to the congregation, and deolare the charge vacant on Sabbath, 25th inst., and that Mr McGregor occupy the pulpit on Sabbath, Ist August." " That Mr McKee be appointed Moderator of session, and the Moderator of Presbytery and Mr Cairns assessors; and that the present financial committee of the congregation be declared dissolved, and a meeting of the congregation be held on the evening of Thursday, sth August to appoint a new committee."
