A surrey was held yesterday on the barque Annabel’s by the surveyors appointed by the Government. A report has not yet been given, the surveyors having sealed up the pumps until to-day, to ascertain what water the vessel was actually making. It probable that a portion of the cargo now in the vessel will have to be discharged before the survey is completed. The Pareora, at We lington. was to leave there yesterday for this port to load here The brigantine Ada C. Owen, Capt. McLeod, arrived yesterday from Mannkau, having left there on last Friday night. She met with northerly winds to within forty miles ofE the Heads, and southerly since, coining to a berth at Ho. 6 Jetty. . , , The cutter Annie arrived yesterday from Wanganui, timber laden.
