Trczais, Opihi—Specimen of Brissua Crawfordii, from the Opihi freestone. Prof. if. W. Hutton, F.G.B.—Large collection of Now Zealand land and freshwater shells. Mons. H. Citron, Akaroa—One specimen of Hexathele, trap-door spider, caught at Akaroa. Mr H. Selwyn Smith, Christchurch—Bust of Bishop Broughton, first Bishop of Australia. Mr J. B, Stansell, Christchurch—Specimen of glass-making sand, to which the first prize was awarded in Sydney. Mr A, B. Bloxam, Deputy-Registrar, Supreme Court—Two specimens of fossiliferoua sandstone, from No Town, Grey River. Mr J. D. Enys, F.G.S., Castle Hill Station —Specimen of Nephrite, from Cornwall. Mr Joseph Day, Sumner Skeleton of Fhysalns Australis, whale stranded on New Brighton Beach. Mr John Reilly, Browne street, Timaru— Specimen of Trigla Kumu, New Zealand gurnard. Mr James Dawson, Colombo road south— Specimens of Tasmanian timbers. Dr. A. Bnlau, Christchurch—Humboldt’s medal, Berlin, 1828, in bronze. Mr T. Mackendrick, Canterbury Club— Specimen of Aatrea reticulata, chalk, England, and two bronze coins. The Chairman of the Christchurch Drainage Board—Specimen of Salmo fontinolis, acclimatised trout. Mr A. Reischek, Auckland—Specimens of rocks, minerals and ores from the Thames district, and fossils from the Northern part of Auckland. The Directors of the Colonial Museum, Wellington Catalogue of New Zealand jrasses by Buohanan ; catalogue of New Zeaand molluscs by Hutton. Mr T. H. Andrews, railway works, Weka Pass—Collection of rooks. Mr J. Goodwin, Pigeon Bay—Specimen of a kitten (lusus natures). The Executive Commissioner for New Zealand at Sydney Exhibition, Wellington—Six photographs of the New Zealand court. Mr T. Scott Chanter, Christchurch—Specimen of auriferous quartz from Virginia, United States of America. Mr S. Deighton, R M., Waitangi, Chatham. Islands—Large Moriori paddle and Moriori skull. Mrs Leslie, Highland Homo, Lyttelton— Two abnormal hens’ eggs. Captain Davis, of the John Knox, Lyttelton —Specimen of flying fish. Captain Oowper, of the Jessie Niool, Lyttelton—Three specimens, 1 adult and two young, of Aptenodytes Pennantii, king penguin, Mr T. Mortimer, Christchurch— Collection of ores from Queensland. Mr George Christie Jaws of shark, taken at Lacepede Islands; egg and two young of Ohetonia Mydas, green turtles ; plants grown on reef, Guano Islands, Lacepedes; egg of Pelioanus Onoorotalus, pelican ; one necklace of shells, worn by the Natives of Western Australia visiting Lacepede Island; one pearl blister, originally covering a pearl of value ; egg of the man-of-war hawk. Mr Charles Hyatt, S'ofton—Nest of the Australian Magpie (acclimatised), Gymnorhina [ tibioen, mode of binding wire. Mr Robert Layoook, Christchurch—Specimen of elate, with slickensides, from the 1 Malvern hills. _ ] Mr T. Scott Chanter, Christchurch —Specimen of calcite, fibrous, from Colorado, | United States of America. Marobeso Qihori Docia, Florence—Collection of Oapodimonte Majolica, eight pieces, ' exhibited by him at the Sydney Exhibition. , Master Leo Bailer, Wellington—Carved Maori canoe-head. Middle Park Stud Company, Christchurch —Skeleton of the racehorse Traduoer, Mr Frederick Honwood, Christchurch Specimen of ferret (Mustela fnro). Mrs W. 8. Moorhouse, Wellington—One greenstone adze, one tomahawk with whalebone handle. Rev. P. H. Wohlers, Bnapnke, Southland — Specimen of Dvsporns serrvtor, Gannet.
